It's pretty funny how quickly things can change. Some people are really far more shallow and selfish than I want to believe. It's funny. The same actions I once benefited from are being repeated, but with me on the other end of the line. I remember having once learned a lesson about defending people: it's hardly worth it in the end. I learned it again, the hard way, again. Some people are so absolutely selfish that they're completely oblivious to what you are risking for them--they only see easy and replaceable comfort in your alliance. I suppose I was wrong about you. |

Wow, LiveJournal! I remember you! LiveJournal became interesting again last night, when my urge to stalk my boyfriend came to a near peak. I slightly believe his did, as well. In a lively conversation, we spoke of the LiveJournals we kept years ago, and what we thought of this phenomena today. We ended up adding each other as friends (Sean is an exclusive man, "friends only") and after reading both my own entries and his, found myself very entertained. Hopefully he was as well, but this is a promise I cannot make.
Anyway, LiveJournal. You were so awesome, back in the day!

i love a certain best friend of mine more than she will ever, ever understand. i don't know what sort of freak disaster slash miracle of nature paired us together, i really don't, but somehow, some way, we ended up friends. i probably dont deserve someone as great as she is, but i'm glad we found each other. she is so right at all the right times. i just love her so much. sound like we're dating? you aint seen nothing yet. |

it is officially my 18th birthday. now i can legally do things like smoke cigarettes, buy lottery tickets, make porn, have sex with older men, have more than one non family member in my car, drive after midnight and before 5 AM, register to vote, die in Iraq, change my name, get a tattoo, get pierced, work in a mine or as a trapeze artist, etc etc
i have either already done, or never plan to do, most of those. there's a few to look forward to. happy year :) |

so today i took the SATs again, and they were just as boring and underwhelming as last time, but thats most definitely not the point of the story. i took them at northern highlands, which is a 2 minute drive from my house. i took my car there and parked next to somebody i know! fun! anyway, i take the test and come back with my keys in my hand and my car is GONE. i was like, AHH. i thought i'd parked in a tow away zone or some other illegal spot and completely didn't realize and was like, omg, wtf, wtf wtf. i decided i'd look for the bimmer (it is bimmer or beemer?) i'd parked next to and found it. turns out my sister took my car to philadelphia and my mom left her car where mine was. LIKE WTF MOM AND SIS WAY TO GIVE ME A GODDAMN HEART ATTACK. |

so school has started. ive only been there two days, but it seems like a while. its different, but a natural progression. today i wore a sweater in 82 degreee heat, feeling proud as i drove out of the parking lot, big sunglasses on. senior year is gonna be a lot of work, but i'm gonna enjoy it. i've got an all-star cast of teachers. this is gonna be the one to remember. |

I think if there was a 'best shirt in the universe' contest, the shirt i am wearing would easily be in the top 15, if not top 10. i made it, it was easy, its so comfortable, it's cute, the color is fucking awesome, and...stuff. it just rules, okay. |

I worked from 9-7:30 today. How many hours is that? 10?
The paycheck I got 2 weeks ago was my biggest one to date, and the one I got today was even bigger. I think I like this pattern. |
